Valtech and ProSTEP iViP
Through its membership in ProSTEP iViP, Valtech is actively involved in the development of STEP standards and uses STEP successfully in pilot projects.
Valtech is currently involved in the following project groups:
Engineering Change Management
The aim of the ECM workgroup is the development of ProSTEP iViP Recommended Practices and a VDA recommendation VDA 6945-1 (Engineering Change Request) to support Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes between partners (customers, suppliers) on the basis of standards.
PDM Implementor Forum
The aim of the PDM Implementor Forum (PDM-IF) is to promote and accelerate coordinated development of STEP interfaces and PLM Services interfaces to PDM systems.
L’association ProSTEP iViP est un groupement d’intérêt comptant plus de 200 membres internationaux issus d’entreprises leaders de l’industrie automobile, de l’industrie aérospatiale, de la construction d’installations technologiques et de secteurs industriels apparentés.
L’objectif de l’association est de procurer à ses membres les instruments nécessaires pour optimiser l’utilisation industrielle de standards de données produits et de standards de processus.
